ROXXY ® EVO LiPo Batteries More power, more capacity!

The proven ROXXY® LiPo high-performance batteries are now available in a revised EVO version. The ROXXY® EVO battery series offers significant improvements in all performance data. While the previous ROXXY® LiPo batteries already had an above-average voltage level even with high load currents, the voltage level of the new ROXXY® EVO series has been further increased for noticeably more "punch". The capacity under load and the total number of cycles of the ROXXY® EVO batteries have also been noticeably increased. Furthermore, the ROXXY® EVO line is characterized by smaller dimensions and lower weight, while simultaneously increasing the C-rate.

The unique ROXXY® BID chip technology for easiest handling with POWER PEAK ® chargers is integrated as standard in all ROXXY ® EVO batteries with more than 1800mAh capacity.

How the BID system works:

Each battery is assigned a small, lightweight BID chip, which stores all relevant data for optimal charging/discharging of the battery. For charging or discharging, the BID chip and the battery are connected to a BID charger. The BID system specifies the parameters to the charger. As an alternative to the BID chip, there is also the BID Key. The function is the same as with the BID chip, but the handy shape of the BID Key makes it easier to plug into the charger.

The following charging settings are stored in the BID chip/key:

• Battery type (NC, NiMH, LiIo, LiPo, LiFe, Lead)
• Number of cells
• Battery capacity
• Charging current
• Discharge current
• Date (e.g. initial commissioning)
• Delta Peak cut-off voltage
• Cut-off temperature

The following data is stored in the BID chip/key with each charging process:

• Currently charged capacity
• Currently discharged capacity
• Maximum charged capacity
• Maximum discharged capacity
• Number of charge cycles

Yesterday, lithium-ion batteries with 3.6 volt cell voltage, today lithium-ion and lithium-ion polymer batteries with 3.7 volts, plus lithium-ferrum cells with 3.3 volts, and already in the pipeline: lithium-phosphorus cells with 3.6 volts.
