The reddish Lite plywood "Ceiba", with a weight of approx. 350 kg/m³, is only half as heavy as Finnish birch. Due to its low weight, it is very popular, especially in ship and aircraft model making. The wood is excellent for cutting and sanding. Ceiba plywood is also frequently used in table tennis rackets.
