Intuitive and quick-to-build models are the goal of every development at aero-naut. Due to the high demand for model aircraft that are still built from genuine kits, the Luxx has now been created.

The model aircraft is built entirely from wood. All parts have been precisely laser-cut and fit together very accurately. Luxx is aimed at model builders who want to experience true model building again, but do not want to wait weeks for construction to be completed. Due to the simple construction with a box fuselage, a construction time of only a few evenings is planned until the model is covered and ready to fly.

The wings were developed with a modified airfoil, which guarantees both uncritical flight behavior and offers the possibility of more spirited flights. Even thermal soaring is quite possible with Luxx to a basic extent.

The construction is entirely in rib construction and is carried out using the proven aero-naut jig. Due to the precise pre-fabrication, the construction of the complete wing can be done in approx. 1-2 hours.

The removable canopy provides access to the motor and battery without having to remove the wing to change the battery.

Simple motors in the 150W power class with a 2-3s LiPo are suitable as propulsion, enabling very good climbing performance and faster flights.

The model is excellent for youth development in clubs, schools, and associations. Thanks to the step-by-step instructions and the highly pre-fabricated parts, shared construction progress is easy to achieve even with varying manual skills. 

Scope of delivery:

• The model kit contains all laser-cut wooden parts for building the model, aero-naut jig, pine spars, rudder linkages and Bowden cables, various small parts. A richly illustrated building instruction leads to quick building success.

The following additional parts are required to complete the model:

• Covering film, electric motor, folding propeller and spinner, battery, RC components.
