Micro-Vario, with TEK SM-Modellbau # 3200
The new Micro-Vario from SM-Modellbau - extremely small and extremely light! At only 1.8g without cables, the MicroVario offers a high-quality TEK vario with two pressure sensors and an accelerometer!
The MicroVario uses a built-in high-resolution pressure sensor to provide a high-quality vario via telemetry and also allows the use of compensation nozzles with the integrated TEK connection. This provides a vario function that very accurately displays real ascent and descent, independent of "stick thermals". For precise altitude measurement, even when operating with a TEK nozzle, a second pressure sensor is installed, which provides correct altitude data independently of speed.
The built-in 3-axis accelerometer with a measuring range of up to 16g provides valuable information about stresses during flight.
All MicroVario measurements can be viewed live directly on the UniDisplay. All settings and alarms can, of course, also be conveniently programmed via the display.
In accordance with SM-Modellbau's philosophy of supporting as many systems as possible, the MicroVario also speaks the telemetry of:
- Jeti Duplex
- Multiplex M-Link
- Graupner HoTT
- Futaba
- JR DMSS
- FrSky
- Spektrum (via Spektrum adapter)
- PowerBox Core
The telemetry system used only needs to be specified once in the MicroVario settings. This is done either via our PC program "SM MicroVario Tool" or with the UniDisplay. HoTT is selected in the factory settings.
And this is what the MicroVario can do:
- high-resolution vario with TEK connection
- altitude measurement with a second pressure sensor with automatic zero setting after switching on
- integrated 3-axis accelerometer up to +- 16 g
- full telemetry support for Jeti Duplex (EX), Multiplex M-Link, Graupner HoTT, Futaba FASSTest S.BUS2, JR DMSS, FrSky, Spektrum, and PowerBox Core
- connection for receiver signal for remote control of certain functions
- measurement of receiver battery voltage
- current status indicated by LED
- direct live viewing of measurements with our UniDisplay
- parameter settings possible via PC, UniDisplay, and telemetry
- free firmware updates via PC with our USB interface (item no. SM2550) or with existing USB connection cables such as those from Jeti, Multiplex, or Graupner
- due to its compact size and low weight, it can be used almost anywhere
