The MICROBEAST Ultra is the result of over 10 years of development and realization of stabilization systems for RC helicopters. It combines all the features of the previously released BEASTX systems and is prepared for the future with a modern ARM Cortex MPU providing even more computing power and memory capacity.
What can the MICROBEAST Ultra do?
The MICROBEAST² is a control unit for RC model helicopters. Thanks to the integrated gyroscopes, the helicopter is largely stabilized so that it only follows the pilot's control commands. Almost all commercially available remote control systems are supported, and newly released systems can be continuously updated through the update option.
The system can be expanded with additional useful functions via paid upgrades. A telemetry connection is available, where the MICROBEAST ULTRA acts as an interface between various sensor systems and remote control standards. With AttitudeControl, we offer additional attitude stabilization and model recovery for flight training and beginner instruction. Bank switching allows the system to be maximally adapted to the pilot's requirements via different parameter sets that can be called up during flight.
The system can be configured using the comprehensive StudioX App, which is available for almost all platforms (requires an additional USB or Bluetooth interface). For those who like it "old school," it can also be used entirely without a smartphone or interface. Most functions, as with the first MICROBEAST, can be set up using a button on the device and the remote control with the help of LEDs.
A remote control transmitter with at least 6 channels is required (5 control functions + motor throttle).
