Mini-Fan classic, for 3.17mm motor shafts
The "Mini Fan classic" is by far the most popular impeller in the WeMoTec range. The goal was to design it for modern 29 mm Ø motors and to increase the jet velocity through a significantly improved rotor efficiency. The five-blade rotor consists of a fiberglass-reinforced, one-piece injection molded part. It easily withstands input powers up to approx. 700 W.
Of course, the "Mini Fan classic" can also be equipped with a SPEED 400-6V motor. Excellent performance is achieved with ten cells. Thrusts up to 400g are achieved with SPEED 480 race and Permax 400 BB, for example.
However, this impeller really becomes fun with an HP 200-20-6, or modern brushless motors from Mega, Hacker, Kontronik, Plettenberg or Lehner. Depending on the input power, thrusts of up to 14 N have been measured.
The optimal nozzle has a diameter of 58 mm; for fast models, the nozzle can be constricted to 55 mm Ø. WeMoTec now also offers such a nozzle pre-fabricated from GRP.
