MultiFix, Black Edition Part-Q # 20180152

The design of the MultiFix incorporates all the experience gained from previous products. The goal was to develop a model stand for the workbench that could be universally adapted to any conceivable fuselage shape and allow for the easiest possible access to the model.

To achieve this, the following features were implemented:

• Individual side panels with adjustable height (7cm)
• Side panels and feet freely positionable along the length
• Complete support area tiltable (± 29 °)
• Rotatable support for different fuselage shapes
• Anti-twist support arms

Magnetic holder for small magnetic parts

The elongated holes in the side panels are for attaching the individual support elements. The adaptable support can be rotated and has a different shape on each side to securely hold the model. The holders can also be used for fixing. The support arms are also fastened in a groove and are secured against twisting. This allows for a secure hold when working on the model, for example, when the MultiFix is swiveled or when transporting it in the car.

The tilting mechanism works with 4 ball bearings and 4 wing screws, which can fix the tilting movement. This allows the model to be positioned at any time in such a way that the best possible access to the model is achieved.

The wooden parts are CNC milled from high-quality and stable 15 mm birch multiplex.

The wooden parts are covered with 3 mm self-adhesive firm rubber at the support points so that the model is held securely and not damaged.

The dimensions of the MultiFix model stand are approx. 60 x 40 x 18 cm (LxWxH) without holding elements. The holding arms can be rotated so that almost the full support can be used. When the holding arms are vertical, the clear dimension is approx. 34 cm.

In the Black Edition, the wood is additionally coated with a 220 g/m² thick phenolic resin coating, which makes the model stand particularly resistant.
