The design of the MultiFix incorporates all the experience gained from previous products. The goal was to develop a model stand for the workbench that can be universally adapted to any conceivable fuselage shape and allows the easiest possible access to the model.

To achieve this, the following functions have been implemented:

• individual side parts adjustable in height (7cm)
• side parts and feet freely positionable in length
• entire support area tiltable (± 29°)
• rotatable support for different fuselage shapes
• anti-twist retaining arms
• magnetic holder for small magnetic parts

The elongated holes in the side parts are for attaching the individual holding elements. The adaptable support can be rotated and has a different shape on each side to securely hold the model. The holders can also be used for fixation. The retaining arms are also fastened in a groove and are secured against twisting. This ensures a secure hold when working on the model, for example, when the MultiFix is swiveled or during transport in the car.

The tilting mechanism works with 4 ball bearings and 4 wing screws, which can fix the tilting movement. This allows the model to be positioned at all times in such a way that the best possible access to the model is achieved.

The wooden parts are CNC machined from high-quality and stable 15 mm birch multiplex.

The wooden parts are covered with 3 mm self-adhesive firm rubber at the support points to ensure the model is securely held and not damaged.

The dimensions of the MultiFix model stand are approximately 60 x 46 x 22 cm (LxWxH) without holding elements. The retaining arms can be rotated so that almost the entire support area can be used. When the retaining arms are vertical, the clear dimension is approximately 34 cm.

In the Black Edition, the wood is additionally provided with a 220 g/m² thick phenolic resin coating, which makes the model stand particularly resistant.
