ORACOLOR® 2K Elastic Varnish, Blue, 100ml Can
ORACOLOR® is the color-matching paint system for all ORACOVER®, ORASTICK® and ORATEX® products.
The special feature of ORACOLOR® is that it is a highly concentrated 2-component paint that is mixed with a spray hardener for airbrushing and spraying or with the paint hardener for painting.
ORACOLOR® meets the highest demands and is used in general aviation as an approved paint for aircraft painting. It is filler-free and extremely economical. 100 ml of paint can cover approx. 1.0 - 1.2 m² of surface. An individual processing viscosity can be adjusted with ORACOLOR® Special Thinner (Art. No. 100-999), whether sprayable or brushable.
ORACOLOR® is available in almost identical colours to all ORACOVER®, ORASTICK® and ORATEX® products. After complete curing, ORACOLOR® is fuel-resistant and iron-proof.
Features:
- 2-component
- Chemically permanently elastic
- Plasticizer-free
- Fuel resistance
- Iron-proof
- Particularly light as it is filler-free
- Highly pigmented
Processing:
- Mixing ratio: 2 parts paint : 1 part hardener
- Add up to 40% thinner for airbrush application
- Add thinner as required for spray application
- Not suitable for substrates that are not resistant to organic solvents.
- Please note the required accessories!
Before use:
- You need a suitable hardener for ORACOLOR® paint.
- To prepare substrates for painting, ORACOLOR® Filler (Art. No. 100-999) is available in white.
- To use the high-gloss ORACOLOR® paints as matt paints, we recommend using the matting agent (Art. No. 100-995 and 1100-995). The degree of matting/gloss can be varied by adjusting the amount of matting agent added.
- For paints in fluorescent colours, please note: Since the chemical properties of fluorescent pigments create a matt effect, overcoating with ORACOLOR® UV protective varnish is required to achieve a glossy surface and for UV resistance.
- Not suitable for substrates that are not resistant to organic solvents.
