ORASTICK® Royal, self-adhesive, is a special color series from ORASTICK® and is characterized by particularly luminous colors. All properties of ORASTICK® Royal are identical to the ORASTICK® properties. ORASTICK® ROYAL has a permanent self-adhesive and is processed like ORASTICK®. To obtain the best product properties, ORASTICK® is made exclusively from virgin polyester granulate, and not from recycled material.
In terms of properties, ORACOVER® and ORASTICK® are identical. They can also be processed together without problems. The fundamental difference between these two products lies in the adhesive layer.
While ORACOVER® is equipped with a heat-activated adhesive, ORASTICK® has a self-adhesive permanent adhesive. However, this property also changes the processing technique. Due to the self-adhesive backing of ORASTICK®, this film can be applied much faster than ORACOVER®.
ORASTICK® is positioned on the part to be covered, the edges are ironed on, and the remaining surface is heated with a hot air gun, shrunk, and glued. In this process, the hot film is pressed into the final position with a felt squeegee, where it is anchored by the adhesive.
Due to the self-adhesive property of ORASTICK®, this film is also predestined for covering models made of rigid foam. With the exception of the transparent colors, ORASTICK® is available in all ORACOVER® color shades. ORASTICK® can be ironed on and blown dry on structures pre-treated with ORACOVER® heat seal adhesive. ORASTICK® can be overcoated with all ORACOLOR® paints.
