OS MAX AX two-stroke engines are the latest series of powerful propulsion units, primarily developed for sport and aerobatic models. The thoroughly refined design features a unique ABL liner (Advanced Bimetallic Liner) with a two-layer surface finish made of specially developed alloys to minimize friction and wear during operation, ensuring high performance and long service life. The futuristically shaped hexagonal cylinder head with large cooling fins provides excellent cooling and allows for higher performance with the same dimensions as the classic FX series. Thanks to this, you can benefit from the wide range of kits and model plans developed over the last decades for OS MAX two-stroke engines, or achieve a performance increase for your existing model with an FX engine!

The OS MAX 120 AX RING is a powerful two-stroke engine with a piston ring and ball bearings. Ideally suited for sport and competition aerobatic models of all kinds. It is equipped with a 70D dual-needle carburetor, whose main needle is angled backward for safe adjustment while the engine is running. The basic set also includes a very efficient E-5020 (Power Box) expansion muffler. The direction of the exhaust opening can be changed by rotating the back of the muffler by 90 degrees.
 

• The 120 AX has the same dimensions as the classic OS MAX 91FX but with 20% more power.
• The crankshaft has a thread for the propeller nut UNF 5/16-24.
• Recommended propeller dimensions: Sport and Aerobatics: 15x10“, 15x12“, 16x8, 16x10“
• Recommended fuel tank: 450-500 ml; a 450 ml tank is sufficient for 10-12 minutes of aerobatics, provided you don't always fly at full throttle.
• Recommended fuel: at least 18% synthetic oil with 5-20% nitromethane.
• Recommended glow plug: OS MAX No. 8 or, for a higher proportion of nitromethane, No. 10.
