The PBS-Vario works with a latest generation MEMS pressure sensor, enabling it to accurately measure height differences of 10cm. Thanks to a digital filter developed by PowerBox-Systems, the measured values are completely free of noise and delay. Both are important prerequisites for a precisely functioning variometer. In addition to the climb rate in m/s, the PBS-Vario measures the relative height (from the starting point) with 0.1m resolution and the temperature in the sensor.
With its very compact design of just 33 x 10 x 4mm, the PBS-Vario can also be installed in the smallest glider fuselages.
The PBS-Vario can be used for PowerBox CORE, Jeti EXBUS and Futaba S.BUS2.
