The Edge Carbon from Phoenix Model is a true-to-scale aerobatic model with a 1.65m wingspan. The model is constructed from extremely light and high-strength wood and is designed for electric or internal combustion engines.
Extreme Aerobatic Action:
Whether fast or slow, precise aerobatics or extreme 3D action - the Edge Carbon offers a great package of size and performance and can be acrobatically maneuvered through every aerobatic figure.
Wood construction with an extremely high degree of prefabrication:
The model is made of extremely light and reinforced wood construction. The laser-cut construction impresses with an enormous degree of prefabrication, which reduces the construction effort almost to the installation of the drive and electronics. Under the large removable GRP canopy there is plenty of space for installing the electronics. The Edge is completely covered with foil.
Electric or Internal Combustion:
This model can do both! The design is prepared for both electric propulsion and internal combustion engines. The only question is: massive sound or absolute efficiency?
