The F4U Corsair by Phoenix is a true-to-scale Warbird with a 1.48m wingspan. The model is constructed from extremely light and high-strength wood and is designed for electric or internal combustion engines.

Wood construction with a very high degree of prefabrication:
The model is made of extremely light and high-strength balsa/plywood. The laser-cut construction features a very high degree of prefabrication, which reduces the construction effort almost entirely to the installation of the propulsion system and electronics. Under the removable canopy, there is plenty of space for the electronics. The Corsair is completely covered with film.

Electric Retractable Landing Gear Included:
The model comes with an electrically retractable and sprung main landing gear. The landing gear legs are completely made of CNC-milled metal.

Electric or Internal Combustion:
This model can do both! The design is prepared for both electric propulsion and internal combustion engine propulsion. The only question is: awesome sound or rather absolute efficiency?
