The Navy Piper J3 Cub from Phoenix is a true-to-scale light aircraft with a 2.30m wingspan. The model is constructed from extremely light and high-strength wood and is designed for electric or internal combustion propulsion.
Wooden construction with an extremely high degree of prefabrication:
The model is made of extremely light and high-strength balsa/plywood construction. The laser-cut construction features an extremely high degree of prefabrication, which reduces the construction effort almost exclusively to the installation of the drive and electronics. Under the removable canopy, there is plenty of space for the electronics. The Piper is completely covered with printed film.
Electric or Internal Combustion:
This model can do both! The construction is prepared for both electric propulsion and internal combustion engines. So the only question is: massive sound or absolute efficiency?
