This Pilatus PC-21 from the renowned manufacturer Phoenix is based on the original model from 2004. The original is equipped with a 1600 hp turboprop engine and has a wingspan of 9.11 m with a length of 11.23 m. The aircraft is used for training purposes and impresses with its elegant lines.
The PC-21 model, with its impressive fuselage length of approximately 2.0 m, is remarkably large. It is equipped with landing flaps, which significantly simplify take-off and landing. Typical for ARF models, the model is fully constructed from wood and is already covered with film. The model features a sprung retractable landing gear and, as an absolute highlight, an extremely detailed cockpit like never seen before. This makes this model an eye-catcher on the ground and in the air.
With a 20 cc glow plug engine, the model is well-motorized, achieving a high jet speed and thus flight speed with a relatively small propeller. The model is a lot of fun in the air, very agile on the stick, and has a magnificent flight appearance.
However, the model can also be equipped with an electric motor. This makes operation a "clean" affair. Thanks to the completely removable canopy, battery changes can be made quickly. Accessories for internal combustion and electric drives are included with the model. The two-piece wing and two-piece fuselage allow for easy and comfortable transport.
