The Tucano Turboprop from Phoenix is a true-to-scale, military trainer aircraft with a 2.6m wingspan. The model is constructed using extremely lightweight and high-strength wooden construction. This model comes in a Limited Edition and is only available for a limited time.
Absolutely true-to-scale:
This Phoenix model is in no way inferior to its prototype. Many beautiful detailed solutions such as the transparent canopy, cockpit, pilot figures and navigation lights make the Tucano look like the original when viewed on the ground. And even in the air, the model presents an absolutely "scale" flight image, which is hardly distinguishable from the flight image of the full-size prototype.
Outstanding flight characteristics:
The Tucano has extra large wings and an enormously strong construction. The size of the control surfaces and the correct tail moment ensure outstanding flight characteristics, a wide speed range and precise aerobatic capabilities. The functional flaps guarantee slow flights and easy landings.
Wooden construction with an enormously high degree of prefabrication:
The model is made of extremely lightweight and high-strength, laser-cut wooden construction. The construction boasts an enormously high degree of prefabrication of 95%, which reduces the construction effort almost to the installation of the drive and electronics. The Tucano is completely covered with film.
Electric retractable landing gear included:
This latest version of the Phoenix Tucano comes with an electrically retractable main landing gear and also an electrically retractable nose landing gear. The landing gear legs are completely made of CNC-milled metal and the gear box is also included in the delivery.
