Really? - A powered aircraft from Grüner-CNC? And twin-engine, based on an original? That can't be true!

It is true! With this model, Grüner-CNC shows that they can do more than just electric and glider models.
The Piston Twin 150 is manufactured with laser technology from balsa wood, ceiba and birch plywood in the usual high Grüner-CNC quality.

The model:

The scale-like fuselage is built around a box construction that accommodates the retracting landing gear, the flight battery, the servos for the tail unit and all the electronics. The shaping formers are glued to the sides of this box construction and then completely planked.
The tail units are designed as fully planked flat plates with ribs and are permanently glued to the fuselage.
The one-piece, fully planked wing is built in a jig and generously reinforced in areas where the retracting landing gear is mounted.
The engine nacelles are also constructed entirely of wood and can be generously rounded.
The retracting landing gear with pre-bent landing gear legs is included in the kit and is equipped with reinforced cams and a metal drive, which makes taking off and landing possible even on less well-maintained grass fields, without immediately collapsing.

With the recommended and tested motorization, 12 - 15 minutes of flight time are possible.  

Scope of delivery:

• All balsa, plywood and linkage parts required for the airframe
• A jig is included in the kit for the construction of the wing
• Engine nacelles in wood construction
• Electric retracting landing gear incl. pre-bent landing gear legs

The kit:

Precisely laser-cut and milled wooden construction, extremely simple assembly (Höllein 3D puzzle), problem-free and extremely docile take-off, flight and landing characteristics, wide speed range through the use of flaps. Made in Germany!
In addition to the laser-cut and milled components, the kit includes all linkage and small parts. A multi-color building plan (2 sheets) on a scale of 1:1 and a richly illustrated, German building instruction and a photo documentation are, of course, included with kits from our Grüner-CNC-Line.

You will need a receiver with at least 8 channels

Adhesives, covering material, drive and RC components are not included in the kit. For covering the model, we recommend ORACOVER iron-on film.
