The MagSensor circuit uses two modern, contactless "Hall sensors" that react to a magnetic field and thus activate the electronic switches in the PowerBox. These Hall sensors do not switch the current but only pass on the switching pulse.
The MagSensor is an option for all PowerBox systems that could previously be switched with the SensorSwitch. The MagSensor can be used to switch both circuits on and off and to reset the capacity display on newer systems. Programming of servos or adjustments in the PowerBox's programming menu are still carried out with the SensorSwitch. With the MagSensor, especially scale pilots have the option of operating our redundant battery switch system with an invisibly installed on/off switch.
The supplied ring magnet transmitter is powerful enough to reliably penetrate even several millimeters thick GRP / CFRP walls. For optical control by two green LEDs, the MagSensor also has a piezo buzzer that accompanies the switching on or off process in two different pitches. With the MagSensor, both circuits are activated simultaneously, ensuring that both switches are reliably activated.
