The new PowerPak series from PowerBox-Systems brings a whole range of new innovations! Like all PowerBox Battery types, the PRO version already has the entire charging circuit and balancer unit integrated. Charging is very simple via the built-in charging socket with the 110V/220V power supply unit or the 12V car adapter (both sold separately). Battery voltage, battery current and charging time are completely monitored by the electronics - incorrect operation is thus impossible. The integrated voltage monitoring indicates the charge status of the battery on the built-in or externally connectable LED.
A completely new feature is realized by the integrated microcontroller:
After a storage period of more than 6 days, the cells are automatically discharged to 3.8V per cell. This lowers the cell voltage to a safe and gentle level and enormously increases the lifespan of the batteries. All PowerPak versions are installed in a robust housing and have a uniform mounting frame. This allows the batteries to be changed quickly or simply moved from model to model. To further facilitate the change, the PowerPaks do not have the connection cable built in. Each battery comes with one connection cable for JR/Futaba or MPX connectors.
All PowerBox battery packs undergo a certified manufacturing process. The legally required UN38.3 certification has been carried out, which enables shipping. If the cells in a PowerPak are used up after a few years, PowerBox offers - as usual - a cost-effective cell replacement and electronics check.
