PURITO Elektro, E-RES wooden kit by Holzmodellbau Schweiger, 1990mm wingspan

During the development of the E-Purito, care was taken to ensure that the model complies with the E-R.E.S. rules, can be built by an average modeler, and offers excellent, easy handling. Due to its large wing area, the E-Purito particularly excels in weak thermal conditions and light wind conditions. The model reacts very well to elevator and rudder inputs, clearly indicates even weak thermals, and can also be easily circled. The E-version is then completely independent of tow line and bungee, making it ideal for training or just for fun.

The Kit:

The wing is built with high-quality carbon fiber tube spars. The ribs are fitted with feet that are inserted into a building jig and additionally aligned with "combs." The milled ribs have a spacing of only 12mm in the leading edge area. This significantly reduces wrinkling of the covering film, which greatly increases airfoil accuracy and thus flight performance. Furthermore, the open wing with its many ribs is an optical highlight for every model airplane enthusiast.

The fuselage is constructed using a mixed construction method of aircraft plywood and balsa wood. A very light and tapered carbon fiber tube is used as the fuselage boom. The rudder and elevator are also constructed from milled balsa parts. The kit includes special, very lightweight Bowden cables with a 0.8mm carbon fiber rod for connecting the elevator and rudder.

For covering the Purito, "ORACOVER light" iron-on film is recommended. (NOT INCLUDED).
