PURITO RES Wooden Kit by Holzmodellbau Schweiger, 1990mm Wingspan

During the development of the Purito, care was taken to ensure that the model complies with R.E.S. rules, can be built by an average modeler, and offers excellent, simple handling. Due to its large wing area, the Purito can particularly showcase its strengths in weak thermal conditions and light winds. The model reacts very well to elevator and rudder inputs, clearly indicates even weak thermals, and can also be easily circled.

The Kit:

The wing is constructed with high-quality CFRP tube spars. The ribs are fitted with feet that are inserted into a building jig and additionally aligned with "combs." The milled ribs have a spacing of only 12mm in the leading edge area. This significantly reduces the tendency of the covering film to sag, which greatly increases profile accuracy and thus flight performance. In addition, the open wing with its many ribs is a visual highlight for every model aircraft enthusiast.

The fuselage is made of a mixed construction of aircraft plywood and balsa wood and has an adjustable high-start hook. A very light and conical CFRP tube is used as the fuselage boom. The rudder and elevator are also constructed from milled balsa parts. The kit includes special, very lightweight Bowden cables with a 0.8mm CFRP rod for controlling the elevator and rudder.

For covering the Purito, "ORACOVER light" iron-on film is recommended. (NOT INCLUDED).

• For power supply, an e.g., Multiplex Evo 2S/500mAh LiPo battery or similar is suitable...
• Small receiver from 4 channels
