The RESCO RES model was designed and manufactured in the Czech Republic.
The front part of the fuselage is a box construction made of balsa and light plywood. The space for the rudder and elevator servo is located in the fuselage under the removable canopy. The tail boom of the fuselage consists of a carbon tube with supports for attaching the tail empennage.
The three-part wing with a modified AG profile consists of a classic construction with balsa ribs and a D-box sheeting. The main spar is made of pine strips with a balsa plywood construction, which ensures great structural strength and very low weight. The wing tips with the elegant winglets are attached to the center section with carbon connectors and beech pins. Magnets serve as a safeguard. There is a spoiler in the center section. The wing is attached to the fuselage with plastic screws.
The tail empennage is made of CNC-cut balsa parts and is not profiled. The horizontal stabilizer is removable for easy transport and is attached to the fuselage tube with plastic screws. The rudders are controlled by Bowden cables.
For powering the on-board electronics of a competition model, it is ideal to use a 4-cell NiMH AAA ENELOOP 800 mAh battery pack.
