A model designed by a Dutchman and produced in China, by HEAVENLY? How come?
The Model:
Vincent Merlijn - a gifted painter and artist and, incidentally, a world-class pilot in the F3K class - approached Ryan Höllein at one of the competitions to introduce him to a "toy glider" for the children and grandchildren of our customers (and the adults who are still kids at heart). He was thrilled... and today we can introduce you to our smallest motor glider in a heavenly guise.
Without remote control, but with a powerful motor "fueled" by a charged capacitor. A few seconds on the (included) "charger" provide surprisingly extended flights. Trimming is done via "bendable" control surfaces (elevator/rudder/aileron).
Even if neither the material used nor the country of manufacture are "Höllein-typical", this small model is still capable of infecting the next generation with the model flying virus for life. And that's a good thing!
The model can be built in less than an hour, but should be done by mom/dad/grandma/grandpa/aunt/uncle... "under the supervision" of the little ones. You can find the building instructions online by scanning the QR code. Then all you need is a nearly windless day and you'll become your little ones' favorite person within a few seconds :-).
The Kit:
Consists of milled and printed Depron components in different thicknesses (0.8/1.2/2/5mm). The tail boom is a 1.5mm carbon fiber rod. The components and drive components are preferably glued with UHU-Por (not included). Electric motor, propeller and the capacitor (already soldered to the electronic module including charging socket) are supplied pre-wired. The "charger" consists of a battery box for 3 AA cells with a permanently soldered charging cable.
UHU-POR and the required 3 AA batteries are not included in the kit.
