The SAITO FG engines are carefully manufactured four-stroke petrol engines specifically designed for model aircraft, combining high performance and stability with low weight. The engine is based on the FA-220 glow engine with some detailed modifications, featuring a petrol-compatible carburetor and an electronic ignition system. This allows for high fuel efficiency with lower fuel costs, reduced model contamination, and the possibility of hand-starting in the normal direction of rotation – no starting tools are required.

• Cylinder and cylinder head are a single component; this design saves weight, prevents warping, and improves cooling
• the cylinder liner is hard-chromed and designed without a sleeve
