SAITO FG engines are carefully manufactured gasoline four-stroke engines specifically designed for model aircraft, combining high performance and durability with low weight. The engine is based on the FA-220 glow plug engine with some detailed modifications, featuring a gasoline-compatible carburetor and an electronic ignition system.
This allows for high fuel efficiency at lower fuel costs, reduced model soiling, and hand-starting in the normal direction of rotation is possible – no starting tool is required.
