AT10II Transmitter with R12DS Receiver, Radiolink, 12-Channel RC Set 2.4.GHz FHSS/DSSS

Highlights:

  • 12-channel RC set 2.4.GHz FHSS/DSSS with gimbals
  • 8 switches
  • 5 rotary encoders
  • 15 model memories
  • Acro-Mixer
  • up to 5 flight modes
  • freely assignable controls and switches
  • Telemetry on display
  • R12DS telemetry receiver

The AT10II transmitter is a 12-channel PC transmitter for all areas of model building:

  • Acro- Motor models
  • Gliders, E-Gliders
  • Helicopters
  • Multicopters
  • Boats
  • Vehicles

It features a practical casing that fits very well in the hand and has a proven, ergonomic arrangement of controls that has been around for years.

Controls:
The main functions are controlled by precise gimbals with adjustable tension via centering springs. It is possible to change the throttle from left to right, allowing you to choose stick modes 1-4. The sticks are adjustable in length. You can also purchase long aluminum heads (with M3 thread). The digital trims have an audible signal for the steps and a graphic display of the positions on the screen. They are slightly eccentrically arranged and easy to reach. Additional proportional functions can be controlled by two rotary encoders with a tactile center detent on the sides of the transmitter and 3 rotary encoders on the top. 8 switches (including 3 three-way switches and 1 push-button) can be used as channel switches, for switching flight modes, or for enabling and disabling mixers. The controls are freely assignable.

Transmitter power supply (not included):

  • 8 alkaline batteries in the included holder (not recommended!)
  • 8-cell NiMH battery pack (AA size, Mignon cells)
  • 2-4-LiPo cells, LiFe, Li-ion.

The battery voltage is shown numerically and graphically on the display, and the undervoltage warning is adjustable.

Transmission System:
The AT10II uses unique Radiolink technology with simultaneous DSS and FHSS frequency hopping for long range, reliability, and excellent interference immunity. The system allows telemetry data to be transmitted from the receiver and displayed on the transmitter screen.

User Interface:
The transmitter is programmed via a 3D programming wheel/button and two buttons, along with a backlit graphic LCD color display. The display has adjustable contrast and a choice of "color on black" or "color on white" display modes to perfectly match ambient light conditions.

Software:
The software is a classic type with pre-programmed mixers and pre-programmed menus for various model types. The AT10II has memory for 15 models.

Operation Menu:
For clarity, it always has three basic screens: The home screen is used to operate the transmitter in normal operation – it shows the type and name of the selected model, the current flight mode, the type of receiver used, the digital trim positions, the time data, and, when using a telemetry receiver, also the receiver's supply voltage. The telemetry screen clearly shows the data of all connected telemetry sensors and modules, and the servo monitor screen provides a graphical representation of servo movements across all channels.

Programming Menu:
This is always divided into two parts for clarity - The BASIC menu contains basic system settings of the transmitter, basic model settings (model type, assignment of controls and reverse switches, trim, subtrim, dual rate reverse switches, dual rate deflections and exponential function, etc.) The Advance menu contains freely programmable mixers, model-specific mixers (throttle and collective curve, V-tail mixer, mixer for Delta, etc.)

Pre-programmed Model Types

  • Glider (1 aileron + 1 flap)
  • Glider (2 ailerons + 1 flap)
  • Glider (2 ailerons + 2 flaps)
  • Motor-Acro model
  • Helicopter
  • Multicopter

Pre-programmed Mixers and Functions

  • Servo reverse setting
  • End point adjustment of deflections
  • Sub-trim
  • Trim step size
  • Dual rate deflections
  • Exponential curve of deflections
  • Motor-off
  • Failsafe
  • Gyro remote control for helicopters and airplanes
  • Three timers
  • Trainer/Student function
  • Servo monitor
  • Flaperon
  • Elevon
  • V-tail
  • 8 freely programmable mixers (4 linear, 4 5-point curve)
  • Airbrakes
  • Control of glider flaps
  • Aileron-rudder mix
  • Elevator-flap mix
  • Flap-aileron mix
  • Elevator with 2 servos
  • Flap trim

  • Tail rotor curve (7-point for helicopters)
  • Revo-Mix
  • Swashplate mixer (8 types)
  • Throttle mixer (for helicopters)
  • Swashplate deflection limiter
  • Hovering trim and collective throttle
  • High and low collective trim
  • Autorotation
  • Governor control
  • Flight modes (up to 5 modes for gliders and helicopters)
  • Flight modes for multicopters and drones

Micro USB socket
For updating firmware via a PC.

Trainer/Student Socket
Used for controlling models via a dual control system with two Radiolink transmitters connected by a trainer cable. The AT9S can be used as both a trainer and student transmitter. The trainer transmitter can hand over all or selected channels to the student. It is also possible to give the student only partial control. A wireless connection can be used via a receiver with PPM output, which is connected to the trainer/student socket of the trainer transmitter via a special adapter (1RL0056). The receiver is paired with the student transmitter.

Telemetry:
When using a telemetry receiver (R9DS, R12DS), the receiver voltage and signal strength are displayed on the transmitter screen (with adjustable alarm threshold). After connecting the PRM-01 telemetry module, the voltage of the drive battery (1-6S LiPo) is also measured and displayed.
