The AT9S transmitter is a 10-channel PC transmitter for hobby and sports model builders, for convenient control of all currently common models:
- Acro motor models
- Gliders, E-gliders
- Helicopters
- Multi-copters
- Boats
It features a practical casing that fits very well in the hand and has a time-tested, ergonomic arrangement of controls.
Controls:
The main functions are controlled by precise gimbals with adjustable force via neutralizing springs. It is possible to convert the axis for throttle to the right or left. This allows you to choose stick modes 1-4. The sticks are adjustable in length. You can also purchase long aluminum heads (with M3 thread). The digital trims have an audible signal for the steps and a graphical display of the positions on the screen. They are slightly eccentrically arranged and easy to reach. Additional proportional functions can be controlled by two rotary encoders on the back and two rotary encoders in the center of the transmitter. 8 switches (including 3x three-way switches and 1x two-way button) can be used as channel switches, for switching flight modes or for switching mixers on and off. The controls are freely assignable.
Transmitter power supply (not included):
- 8 alkaline batteries in the supplied holder (not recommended!)
- NiMH battery pack with 8 cells (AA size, mignon cells)
- 2-4 LiPo cells, LiFe, Li-ion.
The battery voltage is displayed on the screen in numerical and graphical form, and the undervoltage warning is adjustable.
Transmission system:
The AT9S uses unique Radiolink technology with simultaneous DSS and FHSS frequency hopping for long range, reliability and excellent interference immunity. The system allows transmission of telemetry data from the receiver and its display on the transmitter screen.
User interface:
The transmitter is programmed via a 3D programming wheel/button and two buttons together with an illuminated graphic LCD color display. The display has adjustable contrast and a choice of "color on black" or "color on white" display modes to perfectly match ambient light conditions.
Software:
The software is of a classic type with pre-programmed mixers and pre-programmed menus for various model types. The AT9S can store a maximum of 15 models.
Operating menu:
For clarity, it is always divided into two parts: The home screen is used to operate the transmitter in normal operation - it shows the type and name of the selected model, the current flight mode, the type of receiver used, the digital trim positions, the time data and, if a telemetry receiver is used, also the receiver's supply voltage. The telemetry screen clearly displays the data of all connected telemetry sensors and modules, and the servo monitor screen provides a graphical representation of the servo movements across all channels.
Programming menu:
For clarity, this is always divided into two parts - The BASIC basic menu contains basic system settings of the transmitter, basic model settings (model type, assignment of controls and reverse switches, trim, subtrim, dual-rate - reverse switches, dual-rate deflections and exponential function, etc.). The Advance menu contains freely programmable mixers, model-specific mixers (throttle and collective curve, V-tail mixer, delta mixer, etc.).

Micro USB socket
(located under the cover on the bottom of the transmitter). For updating the firmware via a PC. The transmitter firmware can be updated to 12-channel operation to use R12DS and R12DSM mini receivers.
Trainer-student socket
Used to control models via a dual control system with two Radiolink transmitters connected via a trainer-student cable. AT9S can be used as both a trainer and student transmitter. The trainer transmitter can hand over all or selected channels to the student. It is also possible to give the student only partial control. In addition to the classic cable (1RL0058), a wireless connection can also be used via a receiver with PPM output, which is connected to the trainer-student socket of the trainer transmitter via a special adapter (1RL0056). The receiver is paired with the student transmitter.
Transmitter strap:
The AT9S can be attached to the central suspension point with the transmitter strap included in the RC kit and worn around the neck.
Telemetry:
When using a telemetry receiver (R9DS), the receiver voltage and receiver signal strength are displayed on the transmitter screen (with adjustable alarm threshold). After connecting the PRM-01 telemetry module, the voltage of the drive battery (1-6S LiPo) is also measured and displayed.
