The SC-1268SG+ is a powerful standard-size servo that is very well suited as a steering/throttle servo in buggies/truggy. Of course, it can also be used in aircraft when an impact-resistant, robust servo is required, e.g., for the tow release or landing gear. Its use as swashplate servos for scale helicopters up to the 700 class is another option.
The new + version of the well-known SC-1268SG+ servo differs minimally from its predecessor in terms of appearance and technology. A soft start that slowly moves the servo into the starting position when switched on and the Sanwa SSR mode are features of the + version.
The technical data of the servo leave nothing to be desired: 0.11/0.10 sec/60 degrees and 25/30 kg*cm at 7.4/8.4 volts
Control frequency up to 333Hz, center pulse 1520us
Like all HV servos from Savöx, the SC-1268SG+ can, of course, be operated with up to 8.4V!
