The "Type 17" mounting system is characterized by high precision fit and low overall height. The frame has the same thickness as the servo, so its use does not impede aerodynamically sound control surface linkage. The adapter pieces fit precisely into the holes on the servo housing and secure the servo in the frame with two special screws. The frame itself is firmly glued to the wing shell, while the servo can be installed or removed by simply loosening two screws. When gluing in the servo frame, the servo must be screwed into the frame to prevent the frame from bending. To avoid bonding the servo to the frame (wing) during this process, please be sure to treat it with release wax.
