The fuse module prevents a short circuit at the receiver that could be caused by a defective servo or similar. The module is simply plugged in between the receiver and the servo. If the fuse trips due to excessive current draw, the current is reduced to approximately 300 mA, not switched off! If the current at the servo drops, the fuse resets. This means that if the cause was, for example, just the jamming of the retractable landing gear, it can continue to operate as long as the servo is not defective.
