A nimble slope glider at the "Himmlische" (Heavenly) - how is that possible?

The model:

SLOPE INFUSION - goes directly into your bloodstream! It was high time for something new from GRÜNER's model workshop. You already have the Introduction F5J and Inside F5J (our powerful, decelerating high-fliers), and Innovation is already in use with you. Now we have something invigorating for your bloodstream!

Almost 2m wingspan, a 3-part wing, and 4 wing servos make our SLOPE INFUSION a nimble "always-with-you" model with a wide range of applications. Problem-free and good-natured take-off, flight, and landing characteristics, a large speed range due to the cambering of the airfoil over the entire span. The "Selig 7012" airfoil, designed for slope gliding, becomes a docile glider with appealing and surprisingly good thermal performance for its design, thanks to the lowerable flaps and ailerons. The "Butterfly" landing configuration allows for vertical descents from great heights and requires minimal landing space. The powerful motorization makes you independent of the flying site and allows for a larger range of action on the slope and more "risky" thermal hunting. The recommended propulsion - consisting of the Hacker A20-12XL outrunner, a 3-cell LiPo with 1300mAh capacity, and the CamCarbon 10x6 - allows for many climbs to thermal-susceptible altitudes and spectacular "rescue operations" if the lift on the slope isn't as hoped. Due to the low flying weight, 10 seconds of motor run time per climb is completely sufficient. For the glider and slope flying purists among you, we offer a separately available glider conversion kit. However, the quick climb and good rudder responsiveness mean that we cannot recommend this model for beginners. For everyone else: Get this thing, enjoy the quality of the kit, build with enthusiasm, and have heavenly flying fun wherever you are! (Fuselage packing size: 111cm, wing packing size: 91cm!)

The kit:

Typically GRÜNER: Robust tube spar construction with pullwinding spars. These have significantly higher bending and torsional strength compared to pultruded tubes. Precisely laser-cut wooden construction, extremely easy assembly (Höllein 3D puzzle). Easy procurement of individual parts and subassemblies. Proudly made in Germany!
3-part wing, tail units in flat board construction, pre-attached and removable horizontal stabilizer (optional), 90° trailing edge flaps (bottom hinged), wing connection in the main spar, innovative (tool-free and tape-free) locking of the wing panels. A central design feature of the wing is the carbon fiber tube spar, onto which the laser-cut ribs are "strung". Half-ribs in the front airfoil section ensure good airfoil accuracy and prevent the covering from collapsing in this airfoil section. Beautifully shaped wingtips ensure an elegant wing finish. The fuselage is consistently designed for the use of small brushless outrunners. With almost 2m wingspan, a flying weight from 900g, and 32/dm² wing area, we achieve a wing loading of 28g/dm².

The balsa wood fuselage (with plywood frames mortised into the side walls) is generously reinforced with light plywood in the wing seating area. A pre-milled nose block is already prepared for mounting the Hacker A20-12XL. The kit includes - in addition to the laser-cut components - CFK spars, GFK leading edges, as well as all linkage and small parts. A multi-color 1:1 scale building plan and a richly illustrated German building instruction are a matter of course for kits from our Grüner-CNC-Line. Adhesives, covering material, propulsion, and RC components are not included in the kit. We recommend ORACOVER iron-on film for covering the model.
