Former Set for WEMO Retracts Scale 1:3.0
To make the installation of the WEMO landing gear as easy as possible, we offer a former set for this purpose.
This consists of the front main former and the rear former.
The main former consists of an 8.0 mm layer of aircraft plywood. It already has the appropriate geometry for mounting our landing gear with the flange plates. With these flange plates, the landing gear becomes movable within the former, so that either rubber shock mounts or a shock strut can be used at the rear. Four M4 brass inserts are already pressed into the former; the corresponding screws are supplied with the landing gear.
The rear former consists of an 8.0 mm layer of aircraft plywood. The corresponding M6 brass insert nuts are pressed into it. The geometry then fits the rubber shock mount system with up to three rubber shock mounts.
Technical Features:
The formers have sufficient material on the sides and bottom for adapting to the actual fuselage geometry.
