Former set for WEMO Retract 1:4.5 Scale
This consists of the front main former and the rear former.
The main former is made of one layer of 6.0 mm, 7-ply aircraft plywood. It already has the correct geometry to accommodate our landing gear via two pins at the front. These are inserted from above into the former's slots and then locked from the front with a CFRP milled part (included with the landing gear). Two M4 brass inserts are already hammered into the former, and the corresponding screws are supplied with the landing gear.
The rear former consists of one layer of 6.0 mm, 7-ply aircraft plywood. The existing pins on the back of the landing gear are inserted into the recesses in the rear former.
Scope of delivery:
Front former with 2 M4 rivet nuts, and rear former (the formers have sufficient material on the sides and bottom for shaping to the actual fuselage geometry)
