The SparkSwitch RS is a powerful ignition switch in a compact design with RPM measurement and voltage regulation for 6V ignitions. With the SparkSwitch RS, the ignition can be conveniently switched on and off from the transmitter. The switching status is always indicated via the external LED or telemetry status message. This means that the SparkSwitch RS not only simplifies handling gasoline engines, but also increases safety. The engine can be quickly shut off in emergency situations, for example, if a throttle servo is defective.

An important feature is the galvanic isolation of the receiver system from the ignition. Both the switching process and the RPM feedback of the ignition are optically isolated from the receiver. This means that a defective shielding on the ignition or other interferences do not cause disturbances in the sensitive receiver system.

The RPM input can be connected directly to the ignition's tachometer output (if available). For ignitions that do not have a tachometer connection, there is a separate sensor, the RPM-Probe, which can be connected in parallel to the Hall sensor. The RPM data can be transmitted to all common telemetry systems: the SparkSwitch RS automatically recognizes the connected system, so no settings are required via the USB interface.
