SPORTY is an easy-to-build aileron trainer model with excellent slow-flight characteristics. The wings are simply built on a jig. The agile model is controlled via elevator, ailerons, and rudder. The model can also be equipped with landing flaps.
The wing is constructed in two parts and is plugged together before mounting on the fuselage.
Due to its low flight speed, Sporty is very well suited for learning to fly a motorized model. The very detailed building instructions with 3D construction stage drawings guide you through the entire build. Covering paper for the wings and tail unit is included in the kit, and the building instructions also contain a detailed video tutorial explaining the covering process.
The kit contains:
- All laser-cut wooden parts

- Landing gear with wheels
- 3D building instructions.
A tow release can optionally be installed, the parts for which are already included in the kit. Only one additional servo is required. With the tow release, smaller gliders such as the Lilienthal 40 can be towed to altitude. An ideal trainer for anyone who wants to learn how to tow larger aircraft.
A suitable drive set for the Sporty model is offered under the "Accessories" tab (includes motor, controller, propeller, prop adapter, 4 servos, servo extension cables).
If the optional landing flaps are to be installed, an additional 2 servos and 2 servo extension cables are required.
