10-way Connector Mold, Aluminum Mold
The Extron 10-way connector mold allows you to cast "handles" onto the 10 most popular model-making connectors.
The Extron connector mold is made from CNC machined aluminum, making it durable.
Application is incredibly simple (see pictures). All you need is a standard hot glue gun.
1. Coat the inside of the connector mold with a standard release agent, e.g., wax spray, WD40, etc.
2. Insert the plug or socket with the cable already soldered into the mold and close it with the upper mold part.
3. Inject hot glue into the central bore until it oozes out of the side outlet bores.
4. After a short cooling period, demold the connector and remove the sprue with a sharp knife - Done!

WARNING:
- The aluminum connector mold is electrically conductive!
- Please avoid short circuits!
- Risk of fire and explosion!
- Only solder de-energized cables.
