Current Sensor 150A for MPX M-LINK Telemetry #85405

"No current, no action" - therefore, information about the currents in the model is vital! This is exactly where current sensors come into play.

These actually have two functions:

  1. Measuring the currently flowing currents, whether from the drive, receiver, or ECU battery (in jets). Interesting, for example, for optimizing the drive (how much current does my drive draw with which propeller) and for avoiding overload situations. For example, during the basic setup of the model, blocking currents indicate incorrectly adjusted servo throws.

  2. Indicating the remaining charge, essentially the "fuel gauge" for the battery. Especially when using modern high-performance LiPo batteries (e.g., Li-BATT FX), the remaining charge indication is practically indispensable, as these batteries maintain their voltage almost constantly for a very long time during operation, but then "collapse" within seconds. This means that voltage-dependent monitoring of, for example, the receiver battery is no longer sufficient. Timers can also only be rough aids.

The sensor is connected between the battery and the consumer, and connected to telemetry-capable receivers or to another sensor within the MSB. With its basic function "outputting the currently flowing current", the sensor can be put into operation immediately, for example, to measure the current of the electric drive. After activating the charge counter with the MULTImate (# M82094) or the PC program "MULTIPLEX-Launcher", you will no longer fly by timer, but by the actual remaining charge of the drive battery. The current sensor will thus become your electronic fuel gauge! Protect your batteries from deep discharge and thus prevent a shortened lifespan.

Activatable/adjustable with the MULTImate or MULTIPLEX Launcher:

  • Alarm low: Lower current value at which an alarm is triggered on the transmitter.
  • Alarm high: Upper current value at which an alarm is triggered on the transmitter.
  • Option 1 Maximum, minimum or average current.
  • Min current/MiWe: adjustable from 0.0 A to 1.0 A.
  • Minimum current, from which it is counted for the purpose of averaging.
  • Waiting time: Power-on delay (adjustable from 0.0 – 3.0 seconds)
  • Discharged charge or remaining charge. Display in: Charge (mAh) or percent
  • Battery capacity: Capacity of the connected battery.
  • Alarm: Remaining charge value at which an alarm should be triggered.
