Description:
Light, white, soft powder. Practically insoluble in water.
Technical Data:
Particle size: < 50 µm
Density: 2.2 to 2.8 g/cm³
Hygroscopicity: practically 0
Water content: < 1 %
Talc reduces shrinkage during curing and, in putties, contributes to better sandability, but it does reduce hydrolysis resistance. Talc is asbestos- and quartz-free.
