Transport Stand, Black Edition Part-Q # 20150250

The stand is ideal for transporting and storing gliders up to approx. 4 m wingspan and 160 mm maximum fuselage diameter. At the airfield, it can be converted into a model stand with wing holders. This ensures EVERYTHING is always tidy.
For storage, the stand can be hung in a simple shelf rail system. The two elongated holes next to the carrying handle are used for this purpose.

To ensure the widest possible range of applications, the following options are integrated:

• Variable fuselage holders for all fuselage diameters up to 160 mm (can be folded down for use as a model stand; the fuselage holders lock into place and are absolutely stable)
• Variable wing holders for holding up to three wing sections and adjustable for different airfoil thicknesses. Additionally, the wing holder can be adjusted in height to allow transport with a cross tail (tail unit lies under the wings during transport)
• Fuselage support for scale fuselages (for different fuselage diameters at the attachment points, there is an adjustable support, so the fuselage always lies horizontally during transport)
• Adjustable and fold-away wing holder that always keeps the model horizontal when used as a stand at the airfield.

The wooden parts are CNC-milled from high-quality and stable 15 mm birch multiplex. The plug-in system makes the model stand additionally stable and easy to assemble.
The wooden parts are covered with 3 mm neoprene rubber at the contact points to ensure the model is securely held and not damaged.
