For years, the Tucano has been the most popular model in the Phoenix Model series. This was the reason to further develop the model with a 1730mm wingspan, which holds a special place in many pilots' hangars. Thanks to its low wing loading and excellent flight stability, the Tucano is ideal as a first low-wing model and can be precisely controlled through classic aerobatic figures.

Reinforced Construction:
The entire balsa construction of the Tucano 60 MK2 has been selectively reinforced, allowing for even more powerful motorizations. Depending on the drive and electronics, the model weighs between 4.2 and 4.8kg, thus staying below the 5-kilo mark.

Electric or Internal Combustion:
The Tucano 60 MK2 can do both! The design is prepared for both electric and glow-plug engine propulsion. The only question is a matter of taste: tremendous sound or absolute efficiency?

Extremely High Degree of Pre-fabrication:
The model is made of extremely light and high-strength, laser-cut balsa wood. The construction boasts an enormously high degree of pre-fabrication, which reduces the construction effort almost entirely to the installation of the drive and electronics. The model is already completely covered with Oracover® film in the style of the Brazilian Air Force.

Spring-loaded Retractable Landing Gear:
The Tucano 60 MK2 comes with spring-loaded retractable landing gear already installed. Unlike its predecessor, Phoenix Model relies on mechanical retractable landing gear, which provides more safety and less complexity than the pneumatic landing gear of the previous model.

Numerous Scale Details:
The Tucano 60 MK2 features numerous scale details right out of the box. A special highlight is the detailed cockpit and the two pre-painted pilot figures. But the model is not only strikingly similar to its prototype on the ground – the Phoenix Tucano also offers an impressively true-to-scale flight image in the air.
