The E-flite® Turbo Timber® Evolution 1.5m has been developed into the smartest, most practical, and most powerful version of the Timber yet! All the popular features of the original Timber have naturally been retained: the shock-absorbing landing gear with oversized Tundra-style wheels; the optional floats and leading-edge slats, as well as the functional slotted flaps and LED lighting with landing, nav, and strobe lights. Of course, the upgrades of the Turbo Timber®, which gave it more power and versatility, have also been adopted. These include the turboprop-style nose, the 3-blade prop and spinner, the more powerful 3S and 4S compatible powertrain, and the stiffened wings with robust and reliably operating metal-geared servos. With the Turbo Timber Evolution 1.5m, we've gone a step further and, for one, enabled top-access to the battery compartment for even faster and more convenient battery changes, and a combined connector simplifies wing assembly. Reinforced landing gear mounts and more robust springs from the Twin Timber 1.6m improve the model's durability and STOL capability when flying from rough terrain. We've equipped the proven Turbo Timber powertrain with an exclusive Spektrum™ Avian™ 70A Smart ESC and the BNF® Basic version with an AR637TA receiver to provide you with full-range real-time telemetry data on your compatible transmitter. This transmits battery voltage, current, motor speed, and more, and the ESC even offers reverse thrust for special ground maneuvers. All of this, of course, comes with the benefits of AS3X-® and optional SAFE-®Select technology. The color scheme of the durable, plastic-reinforced airframe has also been revised and looks fresh and modern. The Turbo Timber Evolution 1.5m remains the best choice for a follow-up model after a first trainer and continues to offer a wide range of pilots a great everyday model with excellent STOL characteristics – we've just made it even better now!
