With its distinctive profile and exhilarating performance, the full-scale and model Ultimate has earned pilots' respect for its biplane aerobatic capabilities. Gordon Price built the first 10 Dash "Ultimate" in the mid-1980s and competed in the 1988 World Aerobatic Championships with the 10-300. In 2015, E-flite^® released the Ultimate2 and received praise and recognition from RC pilots worldwide for its solid aerobatic performance and 3D capability. With the Ultimate 3D, E-flite^® has now brought the proven airframe up to the latest technical standards. The new powertrain offers better performance with 3S and ballistic performance when using a 4S battery. More powerful and faster metal-geared servos help you keep the additional power under control at all times. Equipped with a 60A Spektrum^™ Avian^™ Smart ESC, the BNF^® Basic version with the AR637TA receiver offers full-range telemetry with real-time data such as battery voltage, current, temperature, and more. In addition, the ESC offers thrust reversal for better ground handling and other features when a compatible remote control is used.

Equipped with the latest innovations and upgrades, the E-flite^® Ultimate 3D biplane significantly raises the bar for scale and aerobatic flying, all the way up to 3D performance. Stronger and faster metal-geared servos and ball-link linkages provide precise and crisp control, while symmetrically beveled hinge surfaces allow for huge deflections to give you extreme 3D performance. The new 3S AND 4S compatible powertrain, with a specially tuned propeller and motor, delivers power in abundance and unrestricted climb performance without further modifications. With the Spektrum^™ Avian^™ 60A Smart ESC in conjunction with the AR637TA receiver, included in the BNF^® version, you receive all important information such as battery voltage, current, temperature, and other data directly on the display of your compatible remote control via full-range telemetry. With a 7+ channel remote control, you can use additional functions such as thrust reversal for better ground handling as well as other unique features. The fiberglass-reinforced, hollow-core EPO construction offers a lightweight yet robust airframe, which has already been provided with an impressive finish ex-works. And to get you airborne quickly, the glue-free assembly of the Ultimate 3D takes less time than charging the battery. The assembly and disassembly of the wings are tool-free, making the Ultimate 3D convenient to store and transport. This makes it the most practical and best choice for almost all pilots looking for their first or next biplane.
