World novelty in miniaturization with high light output: the lights of the PIN 5mm series!
In a new and elaborate manufacturing technique, high-performance LED chips are directly connected and glued to an electrical cooling carrier. This allows enormous light output to be achieved with a minimal chip area of only 3x3mm.
Four different light caps are included, the 2 round 5mm caps correspond to the well-known 5mm LEDs, but with up to 100 times the brightness and a beam angle of >120°. The cooling and mounting pin on the back has a diameter of only 3mm and can therefore be easily integrated into thin areas such as rudders or thinnest tail units.
The 1W position light in x2 technology has an overwhelming performance for model aircraft for this minimal size, the design allows for an operating time of approx. 7-8 minutes without additional cooling.
1. 5mm cylindrical cap - can be plugged directly on as an all-round light
2. 5mm round, focusing cap - when plugged directly on, the light is strongly bundled forwards, as with 5mm LEDs
3. 7mm cylindrical cap - can be glued to the model and used as an alternative cover
4. 5mm profile-shaped cap - can be plugged directly on and used as a small position light
The design of the light includes an exposed LED chip, which is very sensitive as a ceramic carrier. Although it is additionally glued to mechanically stabilize it, careful handling of the chip is always necessary until everything is firmly installed in the model.
A suitable control electronics is always required for operation!

Information on reference power is a pure comparison value between the offered illuminants. Please note that high-power LEDs can get very hot, up to 70°C is quite normal. Check the operating temperatures after installation. No guarantee is given in case of overheating.
Caution: These LED lights are extremely bright! Never look directly into an LED, risk of retinal damage!
