The weather protection is made of impact-modified, deep-drawn, and UV-stabilized polycarbonate. It is exclusively suitable for the KonForm Futaba FX tray; it cannot be used for other trays!
The cover can be folded up when launching a glider, allowing the hands to quickly reach the sticks again. After a successful launch and when the aircraft is in a safe flying position, the cover can be fully closed again, where it then hooks itself into the tray's noses.
For the transmitter with tray and weather protection to fit into the original transmitter case, the cover only needs to be tilted slightly forward and pulled away from the noses. The cover will then lower far enough over the bracket, and the entire system will have enough space in the case. The foam inserts may need to be adjusted. For transport between the bracket and the cover, we recommend placing a soft cloth to protect the cover from potential scratches.
