WingFix Plus Model Assembly Stand, Black Edition Part-Q # 20190150

The dimensions of the WingFix Plus model stand are approx. 80 x 44 x 19cm (LxWxH) without the "ears". The "ears" can be rotated so that the full support surface can be used. When the "ears" are vertical, the clear dimension is approx. 40cm. On a keyboard stand, a working height of 93cm is achieved. The WingFix PLUS is the larger version of the WingFix model stand and is suitable for larger gliders and motorized models. The slightly lower working height also provides better accessibility to the model for larger fuselages and improved stability in conjunction with the keyboard stand. All experience from previous products has been incorporated into the design of the WingFix Plus. In conjunction with a keyboard stand (28 – 30mm tube diameter), it becomes a convenient assembly aid at the airfield.
To achieve the widest possible range of applications, the adjustable "ears" that hold the model can be adjusted over a wide range from 10mm to 400mm. Slots are provided for this. The adjustable "ears" have threaded inserts and are clamped by ergonomically shaped wing screws with plastic grips. The two central clamping screws and the clamping strips ensure a durable connection between the WingFix and the keyboard stand. After loosening the screws in the connecting part, the WingFix can be easily assembled or disassembled. It is therefore also suitable for the safe transport of larger fuselages in the car as well as a model stand for craft work on the home workbench. To further increase the range of applications, mounts for additional shelves, carrying handles, small feet, additional fixing options and cup holders are already provided (not included in the scope of delivery).

To ensure the widest possible range of applications, the following options are integrated:

• Stepless height adjustment ideal for scale gliders and other models with narrow tails
• Wing holder for secure support of smaller models in wind and as an assembly aid when mounting wings
• Tray for small parts and tools incl. magnetic holder
• Central clamping enables stable connection to the keyboard stand as well as easiest assembly and disassembly
• Narrow central section to provide sufficient space for landing gear of motorized models
• Hooks for storing handheld transmitters

The wooden parts are CNC milled from high-quality, stable and coated 15mm birch multiplex board. The plug-in system makes the model stand additionally stable and easy to assemble. The wooden parts are covered with 3mm self-adhesive rubber at the support points so that the model is held securely and not damaged. The wood is coated with a 240g/m² thick phenolic resin coating, which makes the model stand particularly durable.

On the matching stand, a working height of 93 cm is achieved.
