Are you looking for a switch for the electronic ignition of your gasoline engine?
Are you also always looking for ways to make the operation of your models even safer?
The ignition switch 3 has been developed for remotely switching on and off electronic ignitions in gasoline engines. New to the ignition switch 3 is the ability to operate it in parallel with the throttle servo. This means that the ignition switch 3 is connected to the throttle channel of the receiver, and the throttle servo in turn to the ignition switch 3. This saves a receiver output! In addition, the switching point and the switching direction can be freely programmed. This allows the ignition to be switched off at idle by retracting the throttle trim. In addition to the two built-in control LEDs, an external LED is now also supplied, which can be connected to the ignition switch 3. This is then mounted in the fuselage wall and allows easy control of the switching status.
The ignition switch 3 is in all respects a superior replacement for the previously used mechanical switch:
- no wear and tear
- elegant engine shutdown from the remote control
- great improvement in safety in conjunction with a PCM receiver: in the event of a malfunction, the engine can be safely shut down and no longer pose a danger
Of course, the ignition switch is just as suitable for switching lights or other consumers. The ignition switch 3 is microcontroller-controlled and features an optocoupler for complete isolation of the two circuits, receiver system - ignition.
The circuit has various fail-safe features that ensure the ignition is safely switched off in emergencies.
When the ignition is switched off, the ignition switch consumes no current from the ignition battery. The plug connection to the ignition battery therefore only needs to be disconnected for charging.

- Receiver input: 3 to 9 volts, also suitable for receivers with LiPo supply Switching voltage: 3 to 14 volts (3 to 10 cells NiCd or NiMh, 1 to 3 cells LiPo) Attention: the output voltage corresponds to the input voltage! Operation only with the maximum permissible voltage of the ignition!
