Die Dualsky XM-Motoren sind moderne, 14-polige Brushless-Außenläufermotoren, welche mit hochwertigen Neodym-Magneten ausgestattet sind. Die Motoren zeichen sich durch einem hohen Wirkungsgrad aus.
Die Motoren der Serien XM2221EG, XM2225EG und XM2230EG wurden speziell für Modelle der F5K-Klassen mit einem Abfluggewicht von etwa 200 bis 400 Gramm und der F5L-Klasse mit einem Abfluggewicht von 400-800g entwickelt.
