Slite V2 ELECTRIC Fuselage Kit incl. Tail Unit
After many have been waiting for an electric Slite, here is finally the electric fuselage. The fuselage is designed for the Hacker A10 motor with gearbox.
The fuselage is constructed using a mixed construction method of aircraft plywood and balsa wood and is built in a jig. The fuselage boom, made from a conical carbon fiber tube, is very, very light. The rudder and elevator are built from milled balsa parts. The kit also includes suitable Bowden cables for linkage. For covering the fuselage and tail unit, we recommend ORACOVER light iron-on films.
Regarding RC components:
A KST X06 servo is intended for the elevator and rudder. The kit also includes a second servo board without cutouts to allow for custom designs. The servos are located under the wing.
The following drive was used in the test model:
Hacker A10-7L with a 4.4:1 gearbox, PULSAR A-15 controller, Reisenauer centerpiece 28-3.0.8, Turbo Lightspinner 29.5, GM propeller 13x8 and an SLS XTRON 3S LiPo with approx. 450 mAh.
