Fork Rudder Horn 27mm with Ball Joint M3, 1 piece, Carbon Reinforced
Fork rudder arm made of carbon fiber reinforced plastic with a scale-like appearance. Supplied with integrated M3 ball joint and screw connection with stop nut.
The mounting bolts have a diameter of 5.8mm. The rudder arms can be easily glued and painted.
The fork rudder arm is made of high-density carbon fiber reinforced plastic (nylon with 45% carbon fiber content). At 300 °C and under high pressure (1800 bar), the levers are formed in hardened stainless steel molds. Since this process has similarities with the production of highly stressed components in large aircraft construction, it was adopted for the production of our rudder arms. The result is a high-strength component that does not have to shy away from comparison with duralumin. However, it is lighter and more vibration-resistant.
